Entering into The Portrait Masters Image Competition

Updated: Jul 29

In late March, I was pleased to learn that the 2 portraits I entered into the Portrait Masters Awards merited Bronze! This recognizes my work as having achieved a high professional standard of technique and communication.

When submitting to The Portrait Masters Awards competition and Accreditation program each image is given a score by a panel of 5 judges who are some of the top photographers and educators internationally.

I've found that entering images into this awards and accreditation program has really driven me to push forward and master my craft. It's motivation to learn new lighting and editing techniques, experiment with styling and posing and to grow as an artist.

Challenging myself to score higher each round, and seeing that growth has been so fulfilling and I am excited to see where my photography journey leads.

During this pause I'm spending my time taking online classes and dreaming up some more ideas for the next round.

I can't wait to get back to creating!
